Gastronomika San Sebastián
Eating in Ibiza has participated in San Sebastian Gastronomika 2025 together with the Consell de Ibiza and Ibiza Travel, reinforcing the island's gastronomic projection in one of the most prestigious culinary congresses in the world. Ibiza was represented by chef Óscar Molina (La Gaia) and his team, with an innovative proposal committed to local produce, and in cocktails, by bartender Biel Ramon Marí - two-time Balearic champion and national champion - together with the promising young Xicu Mateu Planells. An action that consolidates Ibiza as a gastronomic destination of international reference.
D*na Festival Gastronòmic de Dénia
Eating in Ibiza, in collaboration with Ibiza Town Hall, took part in the eighth edition of the D*na Gastronomic Festival in Dénia, one of the most prestigious culinary events in the Mediterranean.
On this occasion, Eivissa was recognised as a guest city, a role that allowed it to showcase the richness and authenticity of its gastronomy to an enthusiastic audience.
The island was represented by chef Liván Valdés, from the Corsario restaurant, who brought the essence of Ibizan cuisine to two stages of the festival with great success.
In the first space, Valdés offered a live cooking workshop in which Ibiza squid was the star ingredient.
Later, on the stage dedicated to heritage cities, the chef presented a creative proposal with peasant chicken, combining tradition and avant-garde techniques.
Presstrip with national media
From 6 to 8 May, Eating in Ibiza welcomed nine national media on a press trip that showcased the island's gastronomic and cultural richness. The experience included visits to emblematic restaurants and haute cuisine, tastings of local products with D.O.P. and I.G.P., and tours of heritage sites such as Dalt Vila and Ca n'Andreu des Trull. A strategic action to position Ibiza as a gastronomic and cultural destination all year round.
