Flaó is one of the most typical desserts on the island of Ibiza. It is a traditional Easter dessert but nowadays it is enjoyed every day of the year.
To make this typical Ibiza dessert, just follow the steps below:
Knead the flour with the grains of aniseed, water and oil in equal parts and add a glass of aniseed.
The dough should be compact so that it can be rolled out in the mould.
Mix the eggs, the crumbled cheese, the sugar and some mint leaves. Pour the filling over the dough, add some mint leaves on top (optional) for decoration and bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes at 180º.
Enjoy your meal!
