From Fomento del Turismo de la isla de Ibiza and Eating in Ibiza we would like to thank everyone who attended this season's Gastro Events, which have once again been a great success!
Thanks to our partners and collaborators we were able to learn how to make such an emblematic dessert as "flaó"; taste amazing products made with aloé grown on our island; discover corners of Dalt Vila, World Heritage City, enjoying tasty local products at each stop; and of course; pairing the flavours of our island with local wines. All these gastro events allowed us to meet first-hand producers and professionals who love the island's gastronomy as much as we do.

Enjoying gastronomy in a supportive way
As well as allowing us to delight in the local produce of Ibiza, this edition of the Gastro Events has once again stood out for its commitment to the island. All the activities raised funds for the IbizaPreservation Foundation's Ibiza Produce project.
The initiative has been promoting the sustainability of Ibiza and Formentera for 10 years, collaborating since its inception with all local environmental actors. To give just a few examples, Ibiza Produce has promoted the following activities:
- the creation of a Land Bank, with the Associació de Productors d'Agricultura Ecològica d'Eivissa i Formentera (APAEEF).
- the creation of water ponds with the Rafal Trobat Association.
- the publication of a guide to Ibizan farms with organic production by Amics de la Terra.
- the creation of the Centro de Recuperación del Porc Negre with the Federación Pitiusa de Razas Autóctonas (FEPIRA).
- the conservation of seeds of local varieties carried out by the Association for the Conservation and Promotion of the local traditions of the Pitiusas Islands (ACFVTIP).
- the recovery of almond trees, with APAEEF, and the acquisition of a machine for the shelling of almonds by the Cooperativa Agricola Sant Antoni.
